PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine having a shutter system on the front side of a display device in which performance effect by the shutter system is raised and fun is raised. SOLUTION: In the shutter system, a change of a full closing state of covering the display area of the display device by a shielding member and a full opening state in which the shielding member does not exist on the front side of the display area of the display device is possible, the shielding member is made of a material having translucency, and a translucent symbol having translucency is prepared in the shielding member. In the display device, a change of the first display color, which makes it impossible to see the translucent symbol, and the second display color, which makes it possible to see the translucent symbol, is possible. In the full opening state, a symbol for direction is displayed on the display area of the display device, a part covered with the shielding member in the display area of the display device is changed into the first display color when shifting to the full closing state from the full opening state, and the display area of the display device is changed into the second display color in the full closing state.
