PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a bias current applied to a laser diode so as to make the laser diode carry out the optimal pulse oscillation of laser light based on a detected light-emission cycle spectrum. SOLUTION: A laser light emission device includes a laser diode which emits light by a current, a mirror which reflects the light emitted from the laser diode to the laser diode, an optical bandpass filter which transmits the light of the band according to the incident angle of the light, being arranged on the route of the light between the laser diode and the mirror, a bias current output portion which applies a desired bias current to the laser diode, a light emitting unit having a high frequency current output portion which applies a high frequency current to the laser diode by oscillating at a desired frequency, a light-emission cycle spectrum detecting portion which detects the light-emission cycle spectrum of the laser light, and a bias current control portion which controls the largeness of the bias current which the bias current output portion applies to the laser diode.
