ELECTRONIC PAYMENT METHOD

An electronic payment method is provided to enable an issuer to issue an electronic certificate easily, and enable a receiver to receive the surely guaranteed electronic certificate and discount the received electronic certificate at a low fee by suspending payment of a card payment amount, an electronic bill, the electronic certificate, cash, and credit of the issuer. Payment of electronic certificates deposited in an issuer account is suspended and the electronic certificate having a fixed discount rate is issued to a receiver account(130). A receiver issues the electronic certificate to other receivers in position of the issuer(140). A request for paying for the electronic certificate is received from the receiver. A server traces paths of all electronic certificates related to the requested electronic certificate when the receiver requests the payment of the electronic certificate before expiration of the electronic certificate(170). The server pays the electronic certificate to the receiver by deducting the discount rate from a first electronic certificate included in the traced paths(180).
