<p>A nonwoven fabric that is provided with unevenness allowing easy penetration of liquid of excretory substance, etc. Nonwoven fabric (110) comprises multiple grooved portions (1) formed on one surface side of the nonwoven fabric (110) being continuous along given direction and depressed in the thickness direction of the nonwoven fabric (110) and comprises multiple protrudent portions (2) continuously formed along the multiple grooved portions (1) so as to be respectively adjacent to the multiple grooved portions (1) and protruding on the one surface side of the nonwoven fabric (110). The grooved portions (1) of the nonwoven fabric (110) are formed so as to realize a fiber basis weight lowest in the nonwoven fabric (110) and realize a high content of laterally oriented fibers and a low content of longitudinally oriented fibers. The side area (8) of each of the protrudent portions (2) is formed so as to realize a fiber basis weight highest in the nonwoven fabric (110) and realize a high content of longitudinally oriented fibers.</p> |
