PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic connection circuit and ab automatic connection method such that even when respective terminals of devices on sides of a master and a slave are connected at random, the master and slave are connected electrically correctly.SOLUTION: An automatic connection circuit has: a voltage application unit which applies a voltage to a slave device 21; a discrimination unit which discriminates which of a power supply terminal, a ground terminal, and a signal terminal each of individual terminals of the slave device 21 which are connected to individual terminals of a master device 11 is with signals output from the individual terminals of the slave device 21 applied with a voltage; and a switching circuit which switches the individual terminals of the master device 21 adaptively to the power supply terminal, the ground terminal, and the signal terminals according to the discrimination by the discrimination unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
