An apparatus to ease the consumption of a drink having both a liquid and a solid substance, said apparatus comprising a straw having a first end and a second end, said first end designed to be inserted into the drink to allow the consumption of the liquid and having a least one barb, such that when the first end is pushed through the solid substance in the drink, it inhibits the extraction of the straw from the solid substance to allow the retrieval of the solid substance for consumption.
