The present invention relates to a food-preparation apparatus which comprises: an electric motor built into a base (105) mechanically connected to at least one removable accessory for the mechanical preparation of food, and a unit for controlling the electric motor and optionally other functions of the apparatus, making it possible to select and/or configure at least one function of the apparatus and/or to monitor the operation of the apparatus. In said apparatus: the base comprises, opposite a portion of the accessory, a temperature sensor (410) providing information representing the detected temperature, and the control unit is configured to recognise the accessory connected to the base, in accordance with the information provided by the temperature sensor, and to configure the apparatus in accordance with the accessory thus recognised. |
