PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a thermal recording material which shows less texture fog and has excellent coloring forming and keeping property. SOLUTION: The thermal recording material comprises a thermal color forming layer on a support, which layer contains a typically colorless or light- colored color forming compound and a developer compound which is capable of developing color in the color forming compound upon heating. The thermal recording material is characterized in that it contains N-acetyl xylidine in the thermal color forming layer. |
