PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for controlling the position of a printing plate on the plate cylinder in a printing machine, especially on the plate cylinder of a leaf offset printing machine, with a capability of controlling the registration in a simple and accurate inner and without being influenced by the material of the printing plate. SOLUTION: It is arranged so that a distance and time signal which represents, in terms of time the position of a front edge of the printing plate 1 at a fixing device 3 is readable with the use of a probe 13 and a distance detector 8. Further, an evaluation unit 10 is installed behind the distance detector 8 and the change over time of a signal from the detector 8 can be detected with the help of the unit 10. |
