A striker cam for use in the switch described in Specification 1,098,877, comprises a resilient annular portion 12 formed with upstanding lugs 14 and 15 integral with a cylindrical portion 16, the whole assembly being moulded in a synthetic resin material and being adapted to be clamped to a steering column by means of a screw passing through lugs 14 and 15. The portion 12 carries an outwardly directed striker 13 adapted to engage cams on the switch (not shown), and can flex away from the cylindrical portion 16 when the steering column is rotated in the direction of the turn being signalled, but cannot flex towards the cylindrical portion when the steering column is rotated in the reverse direction after the turn because of its engagement with a lug 17 formed integrally with the cylindrical portion. |
