Dustbin lifting and tipping mechanism - has bolt with self-locking faces actuating clamps for different size bins

The lifting and tipping mechanism gives dustless discharge of dustbins of different sizes into a collector vehicle, having a lifting slide engaging with the bins and carrying a tilting cage. Similar sliding two-part clamps are mounted on the slide, working with locking devices to suit large and small bins. One clamp is used for a small bin, and two together for a large one. A two-part door covers the discharge opening into the vehicle. A bolt (14) slides at right angles to the travel direction of the lifting slide in the cage (5) to actuate the clamps (6, 7) and has slide faces (15) with self-locking profiles. The clamps can be spring-loaded against these faces.
