Electrically driven wood pulping machine - with automatic feed control

There is continuous automatic control of the rate of feed of wood chips to the individual grindstones and of the power drives for these stones which ensures that the milled grade of the wood flour is constant. The servo systems use as a control parameter a notional value of this grade represented by the quotient of the feed rate and the "K" the algebraic power of the electricla power input to the drive where K is between 0.3 and 1.7. Adjustments are provided for K and/or the desired grade. The system may operate with constant feed rate and limited power or constant power and limited feed rate.
