PURPOSE:To copy an analog image by a lens system and a digital image by a laser, etc., through the same device by electrostatically charging both an irradiated and an unirradiated part while writing an image and performing entire- surface exposure, and then developing the image. CONSTITUTION:When the copying of a normal original is selected, the charger 18c and lamp 18a of a primary electrostatic charger 18 operate to perform negative electrostatic charge and then the 2nd electrostatic charger carriers out positive electrostatic charge and the 1st exposing device 6 consisting of a lens optical system performs image exposure to form a positive latent image and to advance to development. When the copying of a picture signal from a writing device such as a laser is selected, negative electrostatic charge is performed by the charger 18c of the primary electrifier 18 over long-wavelength irradation and while positive electrostatic charge is carried out by the secondary electrostatic charger 19, picture information is written by the laser, etc., to generate a positive potential only at the irradiated part with the following development. Thus, the analog image and digital image are copied by the same device. |
