PURPOSE:To surely separate an oily part so as to enable a large amount of oil mist to be processed by a short pipe, by opening a discharge pipe into the internal chamber of an upper cover of a hydraulic machine and allowing the oily part to flow with drain water to the outside. CONSTITUTION:A discharge pipe 13, being extended to the side of a hydraulic machine through the inside of a foundation pit 17 from the bearing part of a generator, is connected to an upper cover 23 of the hydraulic machine and opened to its internal chamber 28. The hydraulic machine, having a casing 22 enveloping a runner directly coupled to a main shaft 21, upper cover 23 and a bottom cover 24, provides a guide bearing device 25 supporting the main shaft 21 in the internal peripheral side of the upper cover 23 and a water seal device 27 below the guide bearing device. The water seal device 27 surrounds the main shaft 21 through a small clearance, and pressure pure water at normal temperature is fed to a labyrinth shaped small chamber in the inside of said device 27. The internal chamber 28, in which leak and supply water pipes of the water seal device 27 are provided, is at a normal temperature, and an oil mist 6 generator in a bearing device of the generator is allowed to flow into the internal chamber 28 from the discharge pipe 13 and cooled there, being changed into an oil drip and discharged with leaking water to the outside by a drain pipe 29. |
