PURPOSE:To obtain a corrosion resistant Ni-P alloy plated product having fine appearance by forming Ni-P alloy plating between bright Cu or semimat Ni plating and mat plating and/or between the mat plating and a chromate film. CONSTITUTION:Bright Cu or semimat Ni plating as the 1st plating, mat plating as the 2nd plating and a chromate film are successively formed on the surface of a base material. At this time, Ni-P alloy plating is formed between the 1st plating and the 2nd plating and/or between the 2nd plating and the chromate film. The preferred thickness of the Ni-P alloy plating is about 0.1-1.5mu. Thus, a corrosion resistant Ni-P alloy plated product having fine appearance and superior corrosion resistance is obtd.
