PURPOSE:To permit the automation for a weld zone in a narrow limited space and to expand the range of the automation by dividing the functions of an automatic welding device and by pulling a welding torch by external force. CONSTITUTION:The welding torch 4 is fixed to a welding carriage 2 by a coupler 5. The welding device consists of a welding power source 10 and a welding electrode wire feeder 11. The electrode wire is insulated by a wire conduit 12 and is conducted to the welding torch 4. The welding carriage 2 is guided to a welding material surface and is moved by sliding wheels 3. The electrical driving device is removed from the welding carriage in the above-mentioned manner to reduce the size and the welding torch unit combined into the allowed space is driven by the external force to supply the welding electrode wire.
