<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the release of the ceramic lining layer provided to the inner surface of a pipe even under an adverse condition, by connecting ceramic segments by a connection member to form a long cylindrical body and inserting said cylindrical body in a pipe to weld necessary places by current supply welding using a welding pin to fix the ceramic segments. CONSTITUTION:Two stepped ceramic segments 2 are arranged so that the step parts 3 are opposed to each other and connection members 5 are inserted through the piercing holes 9 of said segments. Next, two ceramic segments 1 each having no step part are arranged by inserting the connection members 5 through the piercing holes 9 thereof. Thereafter, in the same combination, two stepped ceramic segments 2 and two ceramic segments 1 are alternately arranged to be connected in a long cylindrical shape and this cylindrical body is inserted in a pipe housing 4. Welding pins 6 are inserted in the pipe housing 4 from the stepped pin holes 10 preliminarily bored in said housing 4 at the pitch having the thickness corresponding to four ceramic segments and pressed by the electrode holders mounted to electrode grasping flanges 8 and voltage is applied between the connection members 5 and the welding pins 6 to weld and fix the contact parts of the connection members 5 and the welding pins 6.</p> |
