PURPOSE:To improve coloring properties without decreasing whiteness by employing basic white pigment by incorporating it in advance in a base material for printing. CONSTITUTION:After basic white pigment is contained in advance in and/or on a base material, it is coated with iron (III) compound containing nonaqueous ink. The iron compound preferably includes organic phosphorus compound containing P-O...Fe<3+> and/or P-S...Fe<3+> bond. The pigment preferably includes calcium carbonate and particularly soft calcium carbonate. Thus, a recording sheet having preferable coloring properties and whiteness can be obtained. |
