PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically sequentially operate respective units merely by pressing one switch by an operator in the case of switching from a previous job to a next job. SOLUTION: The apparatus for automating a switching work of an offset rotary press comprises a band-like element continuous supply means 100 for continuously supplying a band-like element by laminating a band-like element of a new web roll 102 on a band-like element of an old web roll 101, press plate replacing means 207, 208 for replacing a press plate 807 supported onto plate cylinders 203, 204, a folding specification switching means of a folding unit 700 for switching a state of the folding unit in response to a folding specification of next printing, and an ink supply means 800 capable of reducing an ink amount to a reference ink film thickness distribution and superposing an ink film thickness distribution in response to next printing on the reference ink film thickness distribution. The apparatus further comprises one switch for switching from previous printing to next printing. Thus, the respective means can be operated in a predetermined order in response to a signal from the one switch. |
