PURPOSE:To provide an ink which does not adversely affects the quality of a printed record when used for recording on plain paper generally used in a business office, etc., gives the record a sufficient water resistance, and enables a high-quality printing with no problem even after being stored long, a method for ink jet recording using the ink, and an apparatus using the ink. CONSTITUTION:An ink contg. a recording agent, a liq. medium in which the agent is dissolved or dispersed, and an alkali salt of an amic or alkylamic acid, an ink jet recording method using the ink, and an apparatus using the ink are provided. |
