PURPOSE:To provide a cooling collection filter capable of effectively cooling the combustion gas generated by the combustion of a gas generating agent, capable of certainly collecting a combustion product without generating clogging, easy to produce and reduced in production cost. CONSTITUTION:A gas generator 1 is constituted of an ignition chamber 3 equipped with a squib 8, an ignition agent 10 or the like, a combustion chamber 5 equipped with a gas generating agent 12 and a cooling collection chamber 7 equipped with a cooling collection filter 16 cooling combustion gas and collecting a combustion product at the same time. The cooling collection filter is constituted by successively arranging a fine plain weave metal net 17, a fine tatami (rush mat)-like weave metal net 18, a sintered metal fiber nonwoven fabric 19, ceramic fiber paper 20, a fine tatami weave metal net 21 and a fine plain weave metal net 22 in order from a gas generating side. |
