Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur genauen und reproduzierbaren eindimensionalen Auftrennung von Glycanen mittels der Kapillarelek-trophorese, sowie die Verwendung dieses Verfahrens zur Erstellung von Datenbanken und zur Strukturermittlung von Glycanen, sowie zur relativen Ermittlung der Stokes'schen Radien von Glycanen.
