<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject wet-spun elastane threads by wet-spinning an elastane dope and allowing the resultant threads to leave the spinning bath via the turning roller on the bath and the squeezing roller in the washing machine before drying and fixing the threads on at least two rollers. SOLUTION: An elastane dope of <=35 wt.% concentration is extruded from the nozzle 1 into the spinning bath and the threads are taken up via the turning roller 4 immediately above the spinning bath at a speed of <=200 m/min. The threads are washed in the washing bath, as they are allowed to travel around the washing rollers 5, 6, then guided via the squeezing roller to the drying/fixing rollers 8, 9. The temperature of at least one of the rollers 8, 9 is kept at >=200 deg.C and the contact time between the threads and the hot roller is set depending on the timer and the temperature of the threads, but at least 3 seconds.</p> |
