Binders for dry-binding fibrous materials consist of cross-linkable, redispersible dispersion powders based on vinyl ester copolymers or (meth)acrylic acid ester copolymers or acrylic acid esters of alcohols having 1 to 10 C atoms, and the vinyl ester or (meth)acrylic acid ester copolymers contain each 0.1 to 10 % by weight, in relation to the total weight of the copolymer, of one or several ethylenically unsaturated, cross-linking comonomers. A process for dry-binding characterized by applying a determined amount of the binder upon the fiber materials at 100 DEG C to 200 DEG C under a pressure of up to 10 MPa. Use of the binders for the production of fleece and felt. |
