PURPOSE: To improve the turnover rate of an automatic teller machine(ATM) and to suppress the delay of operation in a bank or the like by storing an acquired balance even after the end of a balance inquiry in the ATM, and at the time of executing a transaction continuously to the balance inquiry, displaying the balance on a display screen together with the display of the transaction. CONSTITUTION: In the case of executing a payment transaction continuously to a balance inquiry, a main control part 2 displays a guide picture for payment transaction on a display device 7, reads out a customer's deposit balance stored in a main storage part 3 and displays the read balance on the guide screen. The customer inputs an amount to be paid in accordance with the guide screen displaying the balance. The main control part 2 displays the inputted amount on the guide screen and starts the payment transaction processing. In the case of continuously executing another transaction, e.g. a payment transaction, after the end of a balance inquiry, the same customer can input an amount to be paid while checking his (or her) deposit balance, so that customer's convenience can be improved and transaction time per customer can be shortened. |
