Coin testing system for coin operated machines

The coin testing system has a channel formed between a pair of walls 102,104 and located in this is a hinged 110 flap 108 that is displaced to pass coins. At the top of this is a formed an optical transmission channel 116 that transmits light from a source on one side to a opto electrical receiver on the other side. In the event that an attempt is made to obtain multiple operations with a coin suspended on a filament126 ,the filament is trapped and affects the transmitted light and triggers the sensor.
