PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire for a passenger car which improves both resistance to rim dislocation and workability of rim assembling. SOLUTION: In a tire meridian section, a straight line 4b connecting the points X, X' of intersection where two lines C, D which pass positions 2mm away from the width center CL of a bead core 3 to the inner and outer sides and are perpendicular to the rotation axis of a tire intersects the bottom plane of the bead 1 forms a bead bottom plane 4 and slants to a bead toe side 5 at an angleθof 20 deg. to 35 deg. for the direction of the rotation axis of the tire.
