<p>An integral, oil impregnated solid is formed which can be handled by pumping or scooping. The solid formed is prevented from disintegrating and floating away by enclosing fencing which is readily applied. The system consists of buoys, net, ballast elements, support rods and shock absorbers. Spacers are fitted between the support rods which act as flexible guides and spacers. The net may be made of hemp, steel or plastics or plastics coated fabrics. The net mesh is matched to the size of absorbing material granules preventing escape of granules.</p> |
