PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the thermal image device having an electronic circuit that corrects a difference between response characteristics between detectors in an array so as to be uniformized electrically. SOLUTION: The device has plural detector element arrays 50' arranged linearly side by side at prescribed intervals. A rotary mirror 32 being a scanner scanning all observed scenes in crossing over the plural detector elements 50' is provided with lots of facets 32a-32h. Then the rotary mirror 32 includes the 1st parts 32a, 32b, 32c, 32d scanning all observed scenes in crossing over the plural detector elements 50' and the 2nd parts 32f, 32j scanning the scenes selecting in the lengthwise direction the scenes observed as if to scan the parts of the scenes scanned by the 1st parts in crossing over some of the plural detector elements 50' in a way of crossing detector elements adjacent to the some detector elements at invertals along the lengthwise direction.
