PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a decorative dial with a solar cell by allowing a metal layer constituting a first electrode to reflect incidence light and to give a beautiful metallic luster and generating photovoltaic effect due to the incidence light. SOLUTION: A plurality of thin, continuous n, i, and p layers 6a, 6b, and 6c on a surface 4 of a substrate 2 form a basic solar cell 6. For connecting the basic solar cell 6 to a power supply circuit, a conductive layer for forming a first electrode 8 being arranged in contact state is provided at the upper side of the layer 6c in the battery 6. And, the electrode 8 is the element of a cell being arranged to directly receive light. The first electrode 8 consists of a partially reflective layer with a reflection factor of 90 to 50% with a wavelength of 550 nm for incidence light, thus giving a metallic luster, namely a desirable beautiful appearance, to a dial. It is necessary to adjust the thickness of the metal of the layer 8 to obtain the reflection factor. The reflection factor of the first electrode 8 ranges from 80 to 60% with a wavelength of 550 nm. |
