PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the heat exchange efficiency by arranging a plurality of rotary mechanisms in which a centrifugal supply fan is mounted on a rotary shaft in a vertical direction to eliminate the supplied air from being blown against a heat exchanger with its locally and remarkably high speed, to increase the air supply, and to unify the air speed distribution. SOLUTION: Two motors equipped with a centrifugal supply fan 12 on each end part of a rotary shaft are arranged in the vertical direction within a box- shaped casing 11 of a fan coil unit 10, and a heat exchanger 15 is installed forward thereof. When air is supplied from an air discharge port of a plurality of centrifugal supply fans 12, the air speed is unified at the distance relatively close to the air discharge port 18 to suppress generation of the vortex and the reverse flow. The air out of the air discharge port 18 is uniformly passed through the whole surface of the heat exchanger 15 to greatly improve the heat exchange efficiency. Because the air speed distribution is unified at the distance relatively close to the air discharge port 18, the distance from the air discharge port 18 to the heat exchanger 15 can be set to be small, and the equipment can be miniaturized. |
