PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a desired electronic sorting copy job by controlling a system such that an original image is temporarily stored in other free storage areas, according to 1st attribute information of the original image in the case that a 1st storage area or a 2nd storage area is fully occupied so as to temporarily use a free area of a memory. SOLUTION: Whether or not there is a free space available in a temporary storage area 312 is discriminated by calculating a storage capacity to determine that a form image stored in a layout memory 310 can be stored in the free temporary storage area 312. When there is space, the form storage area 312 is expanded to cover the sum of the form image capacity stored in the layout memory 310 and a storage capacity in use in a form storage area 311. Thus the storage capacity of the temporary storage area 312 is reduced just by the amount of storage capacity expanded. |
