PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to separately manage individual information included in an electronic mail. SOLUTION: A network access part 11 is connected to a mail server by way of a network 800 and obtains an unprocessed electronic mail. A split storage method interpretation part 19 interprets contents of a rule taken out of split storage method rule data 15 by a split storage method management part 14, communicates the result to a mail split part 16 and a mail storage part 17. The mail split part 16 segments individual information included in the electronic mail according to the contents of the rule and separates each information into a title part and the contents part. A mail storage part 17 classifies each segmented information according to the contents of the rule and stores it as electronic mail data 18 in a hard disk device 600 in a state in which the title part and the contents part are separated from each other.
