The invention concerns a method for producing a phase control device free from drift stresses due to line frequency or the temperature of the components constituting it, whereby a signal delivered by a control is modified by a converter so that the activity of the actuator controlled by said device, is a linear function, in all cases, of a control signal. By way of improvement, the supply signal frequency variation is taken into account by multiplying the convertible signal by a measurement of the power signal period duration.
