The device for connecting wire shielding in telephone and data communication networks consists of a metal panel with extensions to allow the mounting of printed circuits or other contact surface and a knife-shaped contact in the form of a tongue positioned in such a way that it can penetrate the area between the cable sheath and the cable shielding thus allowing to connect the cable shielding to the printed circuit or other contact surface.
