摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the pseudo-environment of a gas diffusion electrode by roughly forming an electrode of an electrode test piece comprising a solid phase part, an immersion part comprising a liquid phase part, and a non-immersion part comprising a gas phase part, and forming a three-phase interface on the electrode at a boundary between the gas phase part and the liquid phase part. SOLUTION: A lid 2 is fitted to a body container 1, and removed when handling an electrode test piece and a test solution. A gas diffusion electrode test piece holder 3 is rotated at the specified rotational speed while keeping the gas-tightness of the body container 1. A shielding plate 4 separates a gas phase part from a liquid phase part in the body container 1 to keep the water level of the test solution. The electrode test piece is rotated to successively and repeatedly bringing the test piece into contact with the gas phase part of the air or various gases and the liquid phase part of the test solution, and the change in the current between the electrode test piece and the liquid phase part is electrochemically measured. Since the electrode test piece is repeatedly brought into contact with the gas phase part and the liquid phase part, the reaction substance and the generation substance are continuously brought into contact with the electrode under the specified condition, supplied or discharged. The electrode surface is constantly renewed by rotation to keep its condition constant.
