PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly durable resistive element, which can be used for a long period in a high-temperature environment of 1,000 deg.C or higher (preferably 1,400 deg.C or higher), and the resistance value of which does not fluctuate much, even when the temperature of the element is repeatedly fluctuates between a room temperature and 1,000 deg.C or higher (preferably 1,400 deg.C or higher). SOLUTION: A resistive element has a main body 22 composed of a silicon oxinitride ceramic and an internal conductor 14 embedded in the main body 22. The conductor 14 has a melting point of 1,700 deg.C or higher, a coefficient of thermal expansion is in the range of 4×10-6/ deg.C to 6×10-6/ deg.C, and a specific resistance of 10-5 Ω.cm or smaller. It is preferable that one or more kinds of conductors selected from among tungsten carbides (WC, W2C), molybdenum(Mo), and chromium(Cr) be included in the internal conductor 14. |
