PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a low-profile additive of a blocked polyisocyanate, for regulating the shrinkage in a composite molding compound, and further to provide the molding compound containing the additive, and a production method thereof. SOLUTION: This low-profile additive of a blocked polyisocyanate comprises (a) an isocyanate-terminated urethane prepolymer having about 1.6/1 or more equivalent ratio of the isocyanate (NCO) to an isocyanate-reactive group, (b) a blocking agent having at least one isocyanate-reactive group and (c) an ethylenically unsaturated monomer. The molded compound contains a thermoset resin besides the components.
