PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable storage device capable of being mounted demountably. SOLUTION: A storage device installation space 4 is formed beside a seat 3 disposed on a body frame 2 of a fork lift 1, and a storage housing 6 is demountably mounted on the installation space 4. The upper opening of the storage housing 6 can be opened and closed by a lid body 9 mounted being closeable, and a contact surface of the lid body 9 of the storage housing 6 is provided with a water-proof seal. Magnets as fixing means are attached to four corners of the bottom surface of the storage housing 6, and the storage housing 6 is fixed demountably to an steel frame by the magnetic force of the magnets.
