METHOD FOR PRODUCING L-GLUTAMIC ACID BY FERMENTATION ACCOMPANIED WITH PRECIPITATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for a fermentative production of the L-glutamic acid while precipitating the acid using a microorganism producing L-glutamic acid under a condition having a low pH. SOLUTION: The L-glutamic acid is produced by culturing the microorganism capable of metabolizing a carbon source in a liquid medium containing L- glutamic acid in the saturated concentration and the carbon source at a specified pH and having an ability storing L-glutamic acid in an amount over the saturated concentration of the L-glutamic acid into the liquid medium having the specified pH in a liquid medium in which the pH is regulated to the condition allowing participating the L-glutamic acid and generating and storing the L- glutamic acid into the liquid medium while participating.
