PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device where thinning of a horizontal line or a void in a back end are not generated and also where soiling of background (background fogging) is hardly generated. SOLUTION: In the image forming device where half-value width of a main magnetic pole is made narrow by having an auxiliary magnetic pole assisting formation of magnetic force of a developing main magnetic pole by which developer is napped in a developing range provided, electrified quantity of the toner is adjusted to be within a range of 10 to 35μC/8 and potential of the background is more than 100 V.
