PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of large connection loss when switching a connector using the conventional optical connector switching device. SOLUTION: The optical connector switching device is designed to hold an optical connector in a state where a part of the flange of a connected optical connector is in contact with the bottom of a connector holding part formed on a connector supporting base. The device is equipped with a pressure imparting part for adding a pressing force to the connected optical connector in a direction vertical to the connected end face, and is capable of attaching a clip to and detaching it to/from the optical connector. The optical connector is held in a state where the body of the connected optical connector is not in contact with the bottom of the connector holding part formed on the connector supporting base.
