摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make detectable the correct angle or rotation and rotary torque without being affected by difference in output characteristic of a magnetic sensor and changes of the air gap between a target and a magnetic sensor. SOLUTION: The maximum and minimum values of outputs of the magnetic sensors while one target is passing are extracted to determine the ratio between the difference of the values and a predetermined reference difference. The ratio obtained is multiplied by a reference gain set for the reference difference to determine a correction gain. Mean of the maximum and minimum values is determined to obtain a difference between the means and a preset reference mean as offset value. In the calculation of the angle of rotation and the rotary torque, actual outputs of the magnetic sensors are multiplied by eth correction gain or the results of addition of the offset value to the resulting value are used.
