PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flame-retarded thermoplastic resin composition comprising a flame-retarded thermoplastic resin composed of a thermoplastic resin and a bromine-based flame retardant and excellent in thermal stability. SOLUTION: This flame-retarded thermoplastic resin composition excellent in thermal stability is obtained by adding a specific amount of a dolomite-based compound or further adding a specified amount of hydrotalcite, a zinc-substituted hydrotalcite compounds or a zeolite compound to the flame-retarded thermoplastic resin composed of the thermoplastic resin and a specific amount of the bromine-based flame retardant.
