PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video print playing machine that increase the profit by limiting number of prints of photographed images, records a photographed image onto a conventional removable recording medium to provide it to a player and allows the recording medium to be loaded on another machine of the same kind so as to print the photographed image. SOLUTION: In the case of photographing, a photographed image and a printable permission number of the image are written in a conventional removable smart media (S10) and in the case of printing out the photographed image, when the media are original (YES in S12) and there are remaining numbers in the printable permission numbers in the media (YES in S14), the print of the photographed image is permitted, the printable permission number is decremented by one (S17), and when there are no remaining number of the printable permission number in the media (No in S14), printing is inhibited (S18).
