PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the change of a router controlling the distribution of information and connection and moving of the installing place of it in an intelligent residence provided with a subscriber wiring for information communication, which enables using a variety of information terminals at plural places concerning subscriber communication wiring for the intelligent residence, a communication receptacle and an information distribution board. SOLUTION: An outside line connection port for connection to a public communication line (outside line) is provided to the communication receptacles arranged in a residence, and this outside line connection port and a public communication line pulled into the information distribution board 1 are star- connected or bus-connected through the installed wiring in the residence. At each receptacle, at least one analog and digital extension connection port is provided in addition to the outside line connection port. To be practical, each receptacle is provided with a single outside line connection port, at least one analog extension connection port, an ISDN connection port and a LAN connection port.
