The invention concerns a method for implanting a set of data (2) on an identifier (1), such as a smart card, delivered to a subscriber by a service provider, said set of data (2) enabling to authenticate the subscriber with the service provider after the identifier (1) has been implemented by the service provider, comprising steps which consist in: recording prior to activation of the identifier (1) by the provider, a first part of the set of data (2) on the identifier (1); recording, after activation of the identifier (1), a second part of the set of data on the identifier (2). The method is particularly applicable in the field of mobile telecommunications. |
