PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically check the reproducing order of data to be reproduced by a sound information reproducing device. SOLUTION: A CD player 200 reads sound information recorded in a CD 300 and reproduces it. An absolute time obtaining means 110 for a testing device 100 obtains a discrete absolute time measured from the starting time point of sound information reproduction among the pieces of sound information read by the player 200 in order and sends it to a discontinuity detection means 120, which investigates the relation of an absolute time inputted in order. In the case of detecting discontinuity, the number of the times of sound jump being the number of the times of discontinuity detection is counted up and stored in a storage means 130. A display means 140 displays the number of the times of sound jump detected by the means 120 and informs a testing person of it.
