PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock up damping device capable of preventing that a crack easily occurs between a spring housing part and a first spring holding part and the durability lowers due to the deformation of the excess diameter- expanding direction of a hold plate resultant from the compressive deformation and the centrifugal force of a torsion spring. SOLUTION: The spring housing part 27 housing the torsion spring 22 therein is formed at a place of a circumferential direction in an outside perimeter of the hold plate 23 fixed to an outside perimeter of a clutch plate 21. A secondary supporting part 24a and a secondary supporting part 28 supporting the both sides of the torsion spring are installed respectively at an end of the spring housing part. The torsion spring housing part is connected to each end ridge 27a, 28a of the first supporting part 28 via the endless circular connecting part 29 and the load of diameter-expanding direction occurring in the spring housing part is dispersed with the connecting part on actuating.
