PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus capable of boosting mobility of data receiving by informing a status of a recording medium to a transmitting device. SOLUTION: A signal processor 12 checks an output of a detecting switch 21 (S1), when a memory module 17 is mounted, an ID information is transmitted to a base station with adding the information about the effect (S3). When the memory module 17 is not mounted, the ID information is transmitted to the base station with adding the information about the effect (S4). The base station, which has received the ID information, holds the information about the mounting or dismounting of the module 17 with the ID information. By holding the information about the mounting or dismounting of the module 17 on a mobile station, upon receiving of a calling on the mobile station, the base station can return the information about the memory on a mobile telephone terminal 1 to an original terminal, so that a calling terminal can change a calling process responding to the returned information from the base station about the memory on the mobile station. |
